Slow & boring weekend
Have I become a workaholic?
3 days of weekend seems pretty long and painful.
Not that I am really looking forward to work, but I havent got much to do this weekend yet again.
Dear is forever busy studying for tests.
It's just never ending coz his success rate is just so low.
It's so hard to match up my pals schedule ever since we started working.
Sometimes I miss school days. Not the exams but the fun times we shared, doing projects together, hanging out in k box etc...
I think I have tried to arrange for mj session for almost 10 times. Success rate is 0!
Jason is right. I am tough to keep up to.
Always looking forward to something new, fresh or challenging.
Weekends are no different. Slacking at home, rotting is just not my kinda weekend.. not for more than a day.. even when I am super tired from work...
Thank god there's Michelle. Meeting up with the KBR pple reminds me of my happy internship days. The American working culture I adapted and assimilated into so easily. Catching up with them and laughing at the good old days meant quite a lot to me.
I need a good vacation. Xmas may be?

Losing it
oops.. it;s hard to commit to this...
hahaha... havent keep track for so long..
but i have been trying to keep to a more healthy diet..
except for just now...
leading a tai tai life...
woke up at 8am to make myself breakfast- sinful pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages.
then i went for dental appointment..
the NDC dentists are really lazy..
they give me such a late appointment and they failed to finish my 2 fillings in the appointment.. and then ask me to come back again next time to do the other one.
gimme so many stupid excuses... it;s just their lunch time... -.-zzzz
and i actually took 1 day off for this...
then, went orchard to window shop.. didnt get to buy anything.. nothing was realli on sale...trying to keep my wallet tight until the xmas sale season is here...
at 2pm, i caught up with dear for lunch in ion..
there's this new jap restaurant opened by a guy who claimed to be HK's top jap chef..
it's kinda odd... or i find it no big deal since he's from HK and not japan.. -.- bla....
dear had to go back to work... so i landed myself in cafe cartel - my fav mugging spot during uni times... i can never give the tea time deal a miss... onli $5.20 for a cup of cappuccino and a yummy slice of cake.. i tried the brownie cheesecake - new item in the restaurant... loved the chcolate and cheese combi... sinful but super yummy!

My quest to shed 6kg
4 years of uni life has caused so much stress that I have gained 8kg.
Can u imagine that? Looking through my old photos, I kinda miss that slim, muscle pack girl.. hahaha... Not the scary biceps which made my junior's eyes popped in our beijing trip though...
3 months into a hectic working life, I have sucessfully lost 2kg by jogging 2 to 3 times a week. It's really hard to follow the regime. After falling sick for 1 week +, I started falling out from my plan. I have failed to keep up for the past 2 weeks or so.
Motivated initially by me, my dad followed my path. He lost 10kg in 1.5 mths!!! He eats oat for breakfast and in-between-meals, fish and soups as far as possible for lunch and jogs 3-5 times a week! He only "sins" for dinner because my mum wont let him eat too little. He's far more disciplined than I am and it's really paying off. Though I think the rate of weight loss is too fast to consider his plan a healthy one, at least he has gotten rid of 80% of his tummy and 2 of his abs are showing! -.-
I need to do something.. I am already 1 mth behind my plan to hit sentosa in bikini! From this afternoon onwards, I am going to try to start my quest again... And may be I will update what I am eating or any exercise I have done everyday on the blog to keep track of my progress eh? May be my readers can help.. hahaha...
So far for today:
1. Breakfast - Cereals + 1 pkt of HL milk
2. Lunch - Tom Yam Fish Beehoon Soup (only ate half the beehoon)
3. Dinner - chicken rice (peeled out skin to reduce damage!!!)
4. Exercise - swimming!!!

Mooncake Feast on 2nd Oct 09
Today I went for food outing with Yimin & gang.
we were at bugis and there were a lot of mooncake stalls..
hehehe 6 lil gluttons went around the stalls together to try the different flavours of mooncakes they have..
On my way back, the lil sinful devil in me came up with an idea:
Want to enjoy losta mooncakes but worried about the calories?
How about having a mooncake feast where we can buy one of each kind that we want to taste and share it with others? In this way, we can just have a lil small bite of each sin and not feel guilty at all!
Itinerary as follows:
6pm to 8pm - Potluck dinner / dinner @ chomp chomp
8pm to late - enjoy a great variety of mooncakes, play board games & catch up with others
*pls update your mooncake wishlist in the following manner: (flavour), (source) in facebook~! (see my profile)
